increase blog traffic

After days (probably weeks) of discussing about Blog SEO, I want to share other methods to increase blog traffic too. Today, I’ll be sharing about getting traffic with blog commenting:

I’m not going to make this a very long post, I’ll briefly explain to you the potential traffic you might be getting when you comment on blogs:

1. Owners

When you comment on other people’s blog, do you think the blogger will read it?

Yes, they will. They might give you a sweet reply too. If you give great comments and valuable feedback, they’ll remember you and check out your blog often. If you have great contents they would like to share with their readers, they’ll simply publish a summary post with a link to you post. You’ll see readers flooding to your blog.

Don’t expect this to happen if you’ve just commented on their blog only a few times. This is about relationship building with a blogger who share very similar passion with you. When both of you are friends, there’re lots of potential to work together!

2. Readers

Blog readers love to read comments about the post. They want to know other people’s opinion. It is not necessary for them to give a comment, but many of them like to have a look. If you have written interesting comments that stand out from other comments, they might click on the link to your blog.

To be success in attracting the bog readers, it is important to be the first to comment. Most people read the first comment and less will read the next, so remember to be the first. You’ll catch the attention of the owner too.

3. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

When you give comments on other blog, you’ll need to enter your name, email and url. Once the comment is approved, your comment will be shown with your name above. The name is a link to your blog. Either it is a nofollow or dofollow link, it helps you in Blog SEO.

Remember that I shared that it is always good to get some nofollow links to make all your backlinks natural? Don’t focus all your time in commenting on dofollow blogs. Have some fun with nofollow blogs too.

Remember to come back and read some cool strategies you can use to get traffic from blog commenting!
