Recently, I post about a Blog SEO experiment to show you how to increase blog traffic with it. I’m here to announce that the Blog SEO experiment on “Virtual Office Cleveland” blog has failed. It was at page 2 but it didn’t go to page 1. Google has penalized that blog and deindexed it.
There are few reasons that my Blog SEO experiment failed:
1. My link building approach is unnatural.
2. Someone has reported my experiment.
3. Google are very sensitive to Blogspot blogs because many people use it to do SEO or spam. When Google realized this new blog is getting links within a few days, the blog is suspected!
The good news is I’ve learn something from this failure and will improve my Blog SEO strategies. I’m ready for the next experiment and I’ll hide this experiment until it is on the first page. I’ll show the results and hope you will wait for it. It might take another week or two.
Anyway, thanks for being interested in the experiment.

What do you mean by “deindexed”? Frontpage is still there. I see it site:virtual-office-cleveland.blogspot.com
To my mind it’s just a sandbox

I realized that as well, I just don’t know how to explain the situation where it is searchable in “Site:XXX.com” and not in the normal Google search. Thanks for reminding me the term sandbox.
Looking forward to start another one. Anyway, thanks for your comment.
