Ping! Ping is the way I get most of my posts in my blog get indexed by Google. Believe it or not, since I start building some backlinks and used the ping list I’m using right now, all my blog posts get indexed within 5 minutes after I click on the ‘Publish’ button.

2. Give Your Post A Vote

The second best method I used to get my blog posts indexed is Social Bookmarking. If the blog is very new and ping is not working, is social bookmark it and you’ll see it indexed within minutes too.

Google are always out looking for ways to get quality sites for their search engine users. The sites recommended by social bookmarking sites are often very good because the users will bookmark the site only when it is good. So, when social bookmarking site has a link to a site or webpage, it will rank high and get indexed either the link is a dofollow link or nofollow link.

The reason this method is second best is this method is not automated (I’m a person who love automated things) and social bookmarking sites have their new system! The new system will send warning or not give a link to users who bookmarked many pages from the same domain name. They don’t like their users to self promote.

The social bookmarking sites I use to get my pages indexed by Google is Del.icio.us and StumbleUpon.

3. Get Backlinks From High PR Sites

If you just start a brand new blog, it is always got to get indexed by getting a backlink from high PR sites. Before I start blogging, I use this method to get all my webpages indexed. It takes a longer time. If you have a high PR website, just link to your new blog and you’ll see it indexed within hours.

If you don’t have a high PR site, submit articles with a backlink to your blog to EzineArticles.com. When new articles are approved by EzineArticles, it will be shown on its front page. EzineArticles’ front page is PR6. When your article reach the front page of EzineArticles, the Google Bot will crawl to the article page and to your blog. It will index both your article page and your blog.

Getting your blog posts indexed is not hard at all. I already have more than 100 pages indexed on this blog and I get search engine traffic everyday! The best method is always to make indexing automatic so you can focus on building links.
