I know you have heard of many stories about how Internet Marketers or Bloggers printing money easily. The method these ‘gurus’ is using blog or website to build a huge list of subscribers and recommend products to them every week.

This method still works but it is not the only way to make money online.

There are many hidden bloggers who are sucking 5 figure of money every month from the Internet. They are hide themselves so well because it is not convenient to share their secrets and they don’t need to sell course or ebook like other gurus to be rich!

I know 2 of them personally.

In this post, I’m going to share this hidden technique of making money from blogs: Niche Blogging.

I’ve published a brief post about niche blogs but I’m going to share with you in detail here.

So, what is Niche Blogging?

Niche Blogging is blogging about niche markets that is profitable, low demand with little competition.

How to make money with niche blogs?

The blogger will first research for a good keyword and use that to build a blog. Next, he use Blog SEO techniques to rank that blog for the keyword. When traffic comes in, he will start making money by using simple ads.

Each niche blog will bring you around $300 - $3000 per month. When the blog became #1 for that keyword, the blogger will continue to create another niche blog with another keyword. He doesn’t need to care much about that blog because traffic will automatically come from the search engines.

Steps to Niche Blogging

Sounds interesting right? I’m also using this method for my blogs and I’m making money from them too. Here are some steps if you would like to start:

Step 1: Brainstorm for some keywords

The keywords could be anything. You can get keyword ideas from magazine or anywhere. This is the most important step because you are going to test those keywords later. You’ll realize that most of your keywords won’t pass the ‘test’ that check its demand, profitability and competition. The more ideas you have, the better it is.

Step 2: Keyword research

Use the techniques and tips I gave on 3 steps to identify high traffic keywords.

The keywords you can use for niche blogging are keywords which has:

1.200 searches or more per day.
2.No PR4 or higher webpages on the first page of the search results.
3.Some advertiser competition for that keyword when you analyze your keywords Google Keyword Tool.

Step 3: Content

Publish information that is related to your niche. The more the better. You can still rank high if your blog only have a few posts. But you’ll find it easier to rank when you have more posts. Try to write 1 posts every 3 days for the first month. Then 1 posts per day for the second and third month.

Step 4: Blog SEO

Use Blog SEO techniques which I shared in other post. You can refer to the following posts:

Step 5: Insert Ads

I usually use Google Adsense or other contextual ads. I don’t recommend you to do this on the first month or before you reach the first page because you will get very few clicks before you reach the first page. Another reason I don’t put Adsense on the first month is because Google don’t like made-for-Adsense-websites.

Google know there are some sites who use this technique and they don’t like it because this websites are ruining (kind of) their business. Insert Adsense later will allow you to rank on the first page faster and easier.
