I’m been posted lots of Blog SEO strategies and techniques. If you are new to blogging and want to quickly start off with Blog SEO. These 5 Steps are written for you:

Step 1: Identify High Traffic Keywords With Low Competition

This is always the most important step of Blog SEO. You can read more about it at: 3 Easy Steps To Identify High Traffic Keywords

First you use free wordtracker tool to identify keywords which have more than 100 searches per day. Next, you install the SeoQuake free addons on your web browser (IE or Firefox). Do a search for the keywords you picked from wordtracker. If the first page of the search results have webpages no more than PR3, write them down on a piece of paper.

That’s your target keywords you are going to rank for.

Step 2: Internal Setting

Buy a domain name with your keywords in it. If you are not planning to buy a new domain name, it is fine. But you’ll need to work a bit harder to rank high.

Next, install a wordpress blog and change your blog title into your keywords. If you don’t want the keywords to be on the top of your blog, it’s fine too. You can add 1 or 2 words behind or after the keywords, but it will be harder to rank.

Go to settings and change the permalink structure into”/%category%/%postname%”.

Go to ‘Writing’ at ‘Settings’. Copy and paste this list into the ‘Update Services’ text area:

Step 3: Start Blogging

Start publishing some new articles on your blog every 3 days! Try not to publish few in a day at the beginning. Just be consistent for a month and start publishing 1 post everyday.

Include your keywords in your articles will help at lot.

Step 4: Link Building With Web Directories

Submit your blog to 10-20 web directories everyday. You can all 1000 web directories from my blog.

Step 5: Submit Articles

Write 1 new article everyday. Submit the same article to 5 article directories a day. I have 900 article directories here for you to submit.

At the resource box or author bio, create a link to your blog’s main page and another link to other pages from your blog.
