You might have only a couple of hours everyday. Which traffic strategies you should focus to get maximum traffic? In this post, I’m going to reveal some Insider Secrets To Generate Traffic to you.

When you learn blog traffic strategies from blogging gurus, most of them will just tell you to go comment on blogs and forums, submit some articles, maybe video, and do some digging to get traffic. I consider myself not a obedient student of these ‘gurus’. So, I did my own blog traffic experiments and testing to check which strategies are going to get me the most traffic.

So, this is the conclusion I came out with:

If your topic is a very new niche…

Focus more on Blog SEO. The reason is simple!

If that is a new topic, many internet marketers and seo expert aren’t aware about it yet. So, ranking on the first page will be very easy for you. The second reason is because new niches and topics are not popular topics. They are not discussed in blogs or forums, so you don’t have blogs and forum to comment on.

However, you should ignore blog commenting and forum totally. Spend most of your time on Blog SEO and some time on similar topic blogs and forums. When the topic turn hot and everyone start talking about it, you are the first one they will think of and visitors will be lining up to read your blog.

If you use this strategy, you will get lots of traffic both in a short period of time and for the long term too.

If your topic is a Red Ocean market…

If you topic is something very popular and competitve, what should you do?

To me, I’ll ignore Blog SEO totally, It’s not very possible to get lots of traffic from the search engine for competitive terms. You can still have the chance, but it’s not going to be easy. At this point of time, I’ll be foucsing more on 3 things: writing very good content, comment on related blogs and forums.

When you are blogging about a competitive topic, the way to get lots of traffic is to stand out from the crowd. What makes you so different from others. To stand out from other bloggers, I will publish very good contents on my blog and differentiate a bit. When other bloggers or website owners come to my blog, they will spread the word on their website. Non-website owners will create a huge word-of-mouth effect too.

Another important reason I used these 3 methods is that there are going to be a lot of blogs and forums when the topic is hot. Weight loss and internet marketing are very hot topics. There are hundreds of forums talking about these 2 topics and thousands of blogs about it. Just go in and contribute value. When people find that you are helpful and you have good content on your blog, they will spread the word on their blog too.

The age of your topic is the key to choose which traffic strategies you should choose. I hope this helps you to get a clearer idea on different blog traffic strategies and which one you should focus on!
