increase blog traffic

Today is my first day of ice skating, I decided to skate just to celebrate some of my successes over the past few months. It was an awesome experience and a great discovery for me. I’m really excited and can’t wait to share with you the lesson I learned about blog traffic!

Before putting my feet on the ice, I was very confidence about myself that I will do well for the first time. I seen many people skate and it looks so easy. The experience in roller skating also add up to that “confidence” and I act like a experienced skater before I start.

These thoughts ended up as a joke…

When I first foot step on the ice, what came out in my mind is “Shit!” It was not easy and it is much more slippery compare to roller skating. I can hardly balance myself. I start to worry that I’ll fall like the others and wanted to go home. But when I saw many people are doing well, I start to try skating by holding on to the wall.

As a result, I learned ice skating by my own after 30 minutes and I’m able to skate like an experienced skater just like other people. Now… If you are interested in learning how to get traffic for your blog just like other experienced blogger within 30 minutes, this is important!

I’m going to share with you an important elements to access blog traffic through my ice skating experience- Balance. (This is not Taoism or any Feng Shui)

Balance is very important for ice skating. When you ‘get’ balance, you will skate smoothly and fast. This goes the same with cycling and how babies learn to walk.

Now, let me ask you one question “Can you teach people how to balance?” No one learned how to cycle or skate on ice after reading “The 7 Important Steps Of Cycling” or “How To Success With Ice Skating In 3 Steps”. Everyone needs to go out and start to skate and fall, and then skate and fall, until they get balance. And once your body gets balance, it stays with you for a long time.

This is same as blog traffic strategy. You can read my 120 Ways To Get Traffic To Your Blog. But if you didn’t actually take action to “get balance”, I’m sure you are not getting lots of traffic. These methods and strategies are useful, but you won’t get much traffic unless you get the “balance” from each of these methods.

Some people might call these “balance” with the word “secrets” or “insider’s knowledge”. I simply call it as “skill and experience you need to accumulate by your own”. I’ve seen many people who learned many traffic strategies and end up with little traffic. They blamed those gurus for not being honest.

Well… there are many gurus who are not quite honest. But most of them are either selfish or don’t know how to share those “insider’s knowledge” with you. You need to gain all these knowledge by your own. If they are willing to put in some effort until they get balance, they will get lots of traffic.

I used to be one of these people who blame those gurus too. I decided not to be part of them because I love “traffic and money” more than “complaints”. So, I moved on and get lot s of traffic.

I’m not sure whether you get what I’m saying because it look kinda “deep” to me. But what I’m trying to emphasize here is :

Using traffic strategies you learned might get you instant traffic. But if you are interested in long term and massive traffic, you need to start doing more of those strategies that you have learned. Gain more experience from it!

Hope this post answer some of the question which is in your mind for some time!
