These are the 3 steps I recommended to every beginner in traffic generation. It’s easy and simple. All it takes is just 30 minutes everyday and you’ll get 20-30 new visitors per day. The answer to this simple method is ‘Article Marketing’.

Step 1: Research?

This is my long kept secret to use EzineArticles.com to generate traffic. The first step is to go to EzineArticles.com (The Largest Article Directory On The Internet) and do a research.

Once you reach their main page, click on the categories. You’ll see a whole list of sub-categories. Write down sub-categories which are related to your blog topic. Don’t try to filter any sub-categories yet because all of them are important (for now).

Now, choose a sub-category and randomly pick 10 articles. Scroll down until you see “This article has been viewed XX time(s)”. The number shows us how many times this article has been viewed. If all 10 articles have an average of 100 views, put a tick beside the name of the sub-category.

Do the same thing for all the sub-categories you have chosen. Most people don’t do this. All they did is just write and submit. Articles in some sub-categories are only getting an average of 10 views.

How many readers will come to your blog out of those 10 people? 10 will be the maximum. However, your article will get more than 100 views and minimum 20 people will go to your blog if you follow all 3 steps.

Step 2: Time To Write

If you having problems in writing an article, relax! When you scroll down in each article page, you’ll see a list of most viewed articles and most published articles. Read them first and learn!

Learn how they create a compelling title and motivating content with a attractive call to action! That’s what I call learn from the best if you want to be the best!

You can spend the first week getting familiar with EzineArticles.com and learn more about successful articles. Once you have the confidence to write, simply follow the guide below:

Use “How To…” in your article title. For example: “How To Get Traffic With These 7 Proven Steps?”, “How To Boost Your Sales With 3 Incredible Tips?” or “Learn How To Avoid These 5 Deadly Mistakes In Teaching”.

Using “How To” in your title create curiosity and attracts people to read. There’re many other way to create compelling title. However, I would like you to stick to this one first because it’s the easiest.

Provide value in your article content to build trust. Share what you’ve promise in your title. When you share what you promise, people trust you and are more likely to click on the link and go to your blog.

Don’t use techniques other businesses cheat people. I know some businesses are using beautiful and mis-leading pictures to attract sales. People who bought end up disappointed and don’t feel like coming anymore.

Same in article titles. If you use this technique to attract people to read, people will not go to your blog or read your articles again!

Call Them Into Action with your resource box. When you login to your author’s account and start writing articles, you’ll see a text area named “Resource box”. This is the area where you get to talk about yourself, your blog and get them to come.

If you have a high credibility such as PhD, high position such as consultant or extraordinary results in your field, say it out. Tell them how good you are and how can they benefit from you by coming to your blog. Explain to them they will get some good experience, tips and secrets from you.

If you don’t have any, use an attractive offer such as ebook or report. Get them to click the link to come to your blog.

Step 3: Submit

This is easy. Simply submit your article to EzineArticles.com. Use writing software to make sure there’s no wrong spelling and read through again to make sure it is smooth. Try to keep it less than 400 words.

Once you submit you are done!

Remember to do this everyday and make sure you read your ‘numbers’ in your author’s account. The views you get on each articles shows you how effective you are in creating Compelling Articles.

Do it often to improve your article title, content and call to action. When you do it so well and your articles get into the most viewed or most published articles, you’ll get lots of traffic. It could easily reach more than 70 visitors per article.
