I want to apologize on yesterday’s post for not being able to complete it. Yesterday, I was having headache and fever. I’m better today. So, I’m going to write a long one today!

Kidding…

I know you don’t like to read long post. I’ll do my best to make this topic interesting and give you maximum values!

In yesterday’s post, I talk about how to understand your traffic information and how to improve your traffic IF you are submitting to article directories. Today, you’ll learn more about traffic information if you submit to popular blogs and forums.

2. Blogs

In the last few article, you’ve learned that you can submit your articles to blogs by building relationship with bloggers or submit your posts to blog carnival.

If you submit your posts to blog carnival which is the easier path, you can simply go to the host’s blog. Check how many RSS readers does he has? If he have 100, you might expect 5% of them will come to your blog. Visitors from their blog will be shown in your Google Analytics account.

Just look for referred traffic and find the domain name of the blog. Look at the visitors which are coming from his blog. If you receive lower traffic than 5%, just improve on title.

If you contribute your articles to popular blogs which have more than 1000 readers, 10% will be your target. If less than 10% come to your blog, it’s your content and call to action box that you need to improve.

3. Forums

Use Google Analytics and the views of each of your forum posts (threads) to understand your article marketing. If you have lower views than the average views of each topic in the same category, your title is definitely NOT interesting enough.

If less than 5% of the views turn into your visitors which will result in your Google Analytics account, improve your content and call to action box.

That’s all for today, short and sweet! Although this is short, it took me many months to experiment and improve to provide these information. Hope you’ll enjoy getting traffic from article marketing!
