Finally, I decided to put my photo up. The reason I don’t put up my photo for the past few months is “I don’t think I’m handsome nor a good look that attracts visitors”. In fact, I’m quite worry that my traffic and loyal readers will leave when the see who’s the guy behind the blog.
But…
The reason I decided to have my photo on my blog is because I want to do something beyond my fear and allow you to know more and get closer with me.I took this photo 2 years ago and I’m still wearing a pair of thick glasses when I’m writing this post. So, I’m still a Geek…

Your comments are hit the nail on the head! If we as bloggers, even as individuals, offer value or make meaning along with being transparent, I believe that’s going in the right direction. This will lead to success. TO each their own, as far as pop-ups because dislike like them, I don’t want others to be annoyed; also, bloggers getting 100 subscriptions daily from pop-ups, impressive but it that the measure of success? How many of those visitors stick around? How many of those visitors leave comments? How many of those visitors become loyal readers and contributors? Like I said, if it works for you, awesome! But it’s not for me.
