Hi Blogger,
You might have read about all kinds of Basic SEO Strategies and even some Blog SEO Techniques in Blog Traffic Geek. But you might be curious what’s the difference between Blog SEO and Normal SEO. In fact, there are huge difference and that’s what makes me more interested in Blog SEO. They are:
1. Biasness To Blogs
I love to mention this point. Search engines love blogs because they are perceived as a website that update fresh content and information about a particular topic. If you are Google, will you rank a website that is always providing the latest information higher or the website that doesn’t change for years?
I used to do many research on the search engines and I realized some that blogs that are getting less backlinks rank higher than websites that have lots of backlinks and webpages.

Here’s another post about increase blog traffic with Blog SEO. Have you heard about the SEO term called “Deep Linking”?
If you have not heard of it, deep linking is basically a strategy which you build links for other posts in your blog instead of the main page you want to rank only. This might seems unnecessary to many bloggers because many bloggers think:
“What’s the point of building links to pages that you don’t want to rank for any keywords?”
It seems like a waste of time and energy. But that’s not very true. There are 3 benefits of using “Deep Linking Strategy”:
1. Your Blog will rank for the keyword you want much faster. When lots of blog posts have higher PR instead of “n/a”, the backlinks from each of your posts to the main page became stronger. Another reason that you’ll rank higher because Google rank websites by considering the backlinks of the entire site too.
